WTCC 2011 met 1.6 liter turbo's? Diesels verboden?
Die FIA is haar eigen klucht uit het WTCC moe geworden waarschijnlijk. Er liggen plannen op tafel om vanaf 2011 een standaard benzine 1.6 liter turbo motor in te voeren voor het WTCC en alle klassen waar de Super 2000 regels van toepassing zijn, dus ook in de rally. Gaat het dan Super 1600 heten? 
Tijdens de aankomende World Motor Sport Council in juni zullen de plannen nader bekend worden gemaakt. E.e.a. staat te lezen in de Autosport
