Met een beetje geluk zien we in 2005 de wederopstanding van een Britse 24 uur..........in de geest van de Willhire 24 hours. De Britcar is van plan om een 24-uurs race te houden op Silverstone.
M.b.t. die Britse 2CV 24 uur, daar zien de 2CV'tjes nog redelijk standaard uit.......de Belgische 2CV''tjes zijn meer proto's. Enige tijd was er een documentaire over deze Britse 24 uur in Topgear, een van de presentatoren was deelnemer aan deze race.
